Frequently Asked Questions

How do I prepare for my consultation?

Please come prepared with a general idea of your concept, size, placement, budget and if you are wanting color or black and grey.

Reference photos are always welcome. It is always helpful to see what things you do like and also do not like to be as clear as possible.

Wear clothing that allows access to the placement area if photos are necessary.

To book, you will need to bring $100 cash for deposit.

What do I bring with me to my appointment?

Please bring water and snacks! Lots of people prefer listening to music or watching something on their phones to help pass the time, so feel free to bring your headphones as well.

Our shop has limited space so if you would like to bring some support, please keep it to one person.

We do not allow pets of any age or humans under 18.

I am CASH ONLY. Please bring cash for your appointment. If you forget, there is also an ATM near by the shop.

What subject matter are you interested in?

I am interested in a wide variety of subject matter, but love working on large scale pieces that compliment and flow with the body. Some things I love includes: florals and fruit, critters, surreal or fantastical imagery, and folklore.

What subject matter will you not tattoo?

I will not tattoo hate symbols, culturally appropriative imagery, or existing tattoo designs.

Will you tattoo other artists designs if I get their approval?

No, I only tattoo my original work.

Do you tattoo over scars?

Yes, I am comfortable tattooing over scars, I just require them to be at least 6 months healed to insure the best healing!

Yes, but it does depend on the project. I require a consultation to see the tattoo in person so we can make a realistic plan on how to best cover it.

Do you do cover ups?

Do you use numbing products?

I provide Vasocane spray (5% litocane) during the procedure if the area is getting uncomfortable. This product helps numb the area once your skin is open, and can usually help people sit much longer than they could without it.

Please communicate with me prior to your appointment if you are interested in providing your own topical numbing cream and we can go over brands and other information you need to know.

Everyone’s skin is different! Numbing creams can change your skin texture and color when applied, and make your skin harder to work with, which can then negatively effect the healing of your tattoo. Please do not use any numbing products without communicating with me first.

Tattoos hurt, but I am here to make your tattoo experience as comfortable as possible!
